Cancellation Notice and Policy

From time to time, for the safety of our students and teachers, it is necessary to cancel a portion or the entirety of the All County Festival weekend due to inclement weather.

If Putnam County Schools are dismissed early or closed for the day due to inclement weather on the Friday of an All County weekend:

Friday rehearsals will be canceled. Pending improved weather conditions, we will resume rehearsals on Saturday morning and perform the concert at 2 PM as scheduled.

If weather conditions do not improve, the entire festival will be canceled.

If weather conditions will impact the safety of traveling students and teachers on the Saturday of an All County weekend:

All Saturday rehearsals and the concert will be canceled.

Please note: Due to certain fixed costs such as insurance, the purchase of music, and guest conductor contracts, PCMEA registration fees are non-refundable.
