A Letter From the President of PCMEA, Mr. John Butera

Welcome to the PCMEA home page! PCMEA exists to provide talented young music students a special opportunity to participate in our yearly All-County Music Festivals.

Over twenty music teachers from Brewster, Carmel, Garrison, Haldane, Mahopac and Putnam Valley donate their time and expertise to organize, prepare and rehearse for many weeks to insure productive, fun and memorable experiences for our children.

PCMEA selects students for each group based on NYSSMA levels and scores, grade in school, instrumentation, fair district representation and teacher recommendation.   Practice your NYSSMA solos and have fun at the NYSSMA festival!
